WDM synthesizes a series of optical signals with different information but different wavelengths, and transmits them along a single optical fiber. At the transmitting end, they are combined together through multiplexers (also known as Multiplexers) and coupled to the light. The transmission technology of the same fiber in the line; at the receiving end, a demultiplexer (also called a demultiplexer or demultiplexer) separates the different wavelengths of the optical signal and then the optical receiver.
